With glorious views of Ullock Pike and Skiddaw, our comfortable rooms overlook Sale Fell and Wythop Woods opposite. Our home is surrounded by open countryside and well kept gardens with patio furniture available. Bassenthwaite Lake and Silver Meadows, a wet land board walk of approx.1.5 km, are a haven for wildlife not to be missed. Visit in spring when the nesting Ospreys return, when daffodils cover the garden and when new born lambs gambol in the fields next to the house or in Autumn to see the changing colours of the fells or in Winter to enjoy the snow capped peaks. We are a year round destination.Wake up to a hearty Cumberland breakfast made with finest local produce including free range eggs, fresh fruit and home made granola which will set you up for the day. We can also provide evening meals on request and are happy to send you off with a packed lunch and full flask. Link House provides you with a dedicated guest lounge with stunning views, wi-fi or access to a computer, flat screen digital TV's in all rooms, private off road parking, cycle storage, drying facilities and a licensed bar.We can be easily found just a few hundred yards off the A66 and on the X5 bus route which runs from Penrith to Cockermouth. The X4 bus stops 500 yards away. Cockermouth is only 10 minutes away by car with Keswick approx. 15 minutes away.Check in time between 4.00pm - 7.00pm. 2 night minimum stays on Friday and Saturday nights and 3 nights min stay over Bank Holiday weekends. Directions: From Junction 40 on M6 take the A66 west towards Keswick. Continue past Keswick on the A66 to the northern end of Bassenthwaite Lake, 400 metres after the dual carriageway ends take a right turn (signposted Castle Inn, Dubwath). FOLLOW THE ROAD ROUND TO THE LEFT and Link House is at the top of the hill on your right.
