Description: Mosspaul continues to be a historic Borders landmark. It is in its own grounds of approximately two acres and is conveniently situated for breaking your journey,all you have to do is literally turn off the A7 and park. Our location within the Teviot Valley is ideal for relaxing and unwinding.Mosspaul is also well placed as a base for a few days from which to explore the historic Border towns ,Hermitage Castle, Kielder Water and Kielder Forest.There is the opportunity for starting walks from Mosspaul and for following other country pursuits.Mosspaul is now under new management and we aim to provide good homemade food and good service at an affordable price and in a friendly informal way while we continue to restore the historical feel of Mosspaul.
Directions: From the south: exit the M6 at junction 44 and follow the signs for Edinburgh. Mosspaul Inn is approximately 10 miles north of Langholm and is easily seen set back in approximately 2 acres of land on the left hand side of the road. From the north follow the A7 and signs for Carlisle. Mosspaul Inn is approximately 12 miles south of Hawick and is easily seen set back in approximately 2 acres of land on the right hand side of the road.
