Description: Here at Lake Mere you will receive a warm and friendly welcome.Lakemere is a lovely 5 bedroom, victorian house, all of which have en-suite facilities with shower, WC and hand basin. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Each bedroom is different in colour and style and all have tea and coffee facilities, TV and hair dryer. For your comfort the whole house is centrally heated.Lake Mere is conveniently located in a quiet side street, just an easy stroll away from the amenities of Keswick town centre with its unique range of shops, art and craft galleries, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants or to Derwentwater lake or the River Greta and Riverside Parks. This is also a fine base from which to explore the rest of the Lake District or the historic Cumbrian Coast, and is within easy reach of Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish Borders - making Lake Mere definately worth a visit.
Directions: Keswick is in an idyllic location, between Skiddaw mountain and Derwentwater lake, yet is only half an hour's easy drive along the A66 from Junction 40 of the M6 motorway. For those travelling here by public transport there is a bus station in Keswick served by local and long distance buses, and the West Coast Mainline railway station at Penrith is just 18 miles away.
