Description: If you're looking for summer accommodation in Edinburgh with convenient links to the city centre, look no further than Queen Margaret University! QMU:Accommodate provides BandB accommodation in single or double ensuite bedrooms, which start from one night stays. Why not make it a long weekend to enjoy the many events Edinburgh has to offer? Our campus is located less than 10 minutes by train from Waverley station in Edinburgh city centre. Frequent buses also run from the city centre and take approximately 30 minutes. Car parking is free on campus during the summer. Please refer to the Map and Directions' section for more details on getting to the campus. Our accommodation is available from 18th June to 2nd September 2012. We have friendly staff on reception from 8am to 9pm, 7 days a week. Breakfast is included in the nightly rates.WiFi is also available. Check in time: 2.00 pmCheck out time: 10.00 am Remainder of Payment due: FOUR (4) WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL Payment of the outstanding balance must be made by creditdebit card. Please leave a contact number with your booking. Any arrivals after 9.00pm will not be allowed into their rooms if the balance is not paid in advance.
Directions: GETTING HERE BY BUS:Bus services no 30 and 1515A operate from Edinburgh city centre to the campus on a regular basis. QMU campus has its own stop. Timetables and ticket prices are available on the Lothian Buses website. GETTING HERE BY CAR:Car parking is free on campus. The QMU campus is situated to the east of Edinburgh, by Musselburgh. Please note that vehicular access is only via a slip road off the A1 southbound. You can find detailed directions on the QMU website at: www.qmu.ac.uktheuniversityaccess.htm SAT NAV: Please do not use the postcode as it will take you to the wrong entrance to the campus which is for buses only. GETTING HERE BY TRAIN:The campus is served by Musselburgh Station (a few minutes' walk away from the accommodation) which connects with Edinburgh Waverley Station in the city centre. The current train schedule can be found on the National Rail website. GETTING HERE BY PLANE:Fly into Edinburgh International airport. QMU is located approx 15 miles from Edinburgh Airport, to the east of the city, just along the A720 bypass. Alternatively, take the Airport bus (no 100) to Princes Street and proceed by train or bus (number 30 or 1515A) to the QMU campus. You can also take a taxi along the A720 bypass.
