Description: The Manor House Hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful seaside village St Bees. Our location is ideal for walking the start of the Coast to Coast walk which leaves from the beach, sightseeing of the surrounding coastal towns of Whitehaven. Manor House has has a lounge bar and a restaurant serving a variety of traditional home-cooked food throughout the day. Free private parking, free wi-fi and Large flat screen sky sports are all available at Manor House. Scenic walks can be enjoyed less than 15 minutes' drive away in the Lake District National Park. A flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each traditionally furnished room. All rooms also have a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a selection of toiletries. St Bees Head is just a 5-minute drive away and offers beautiful coastal walks. Ravenglass and Eskdale Miniature Steam Railway and Muncaster Castle are both within 25 minutes' drive of Manor House. Full English breakfasts are served in the restaurant. Packed lunches are available on request.
Directions: Leave the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 west for approximately 35 mile. Take the A595 towards WHITEHAVEN. Keep on the A595, by-passing the town center. Go through two sets of traffic lights to a roundabout which you go straight over. Then take the second right - sign posted for ST BEES. At the T-Junction at the top of the hill turn left onto the B5345 towards ST BEES. Cross over level crossing railway lines and continue for 200 yards the hotel is on the left hand side. Car park at rear of hotel.
